Born in the bustling city of Yokohama, not too far from Japan’s capital city, Tokyo, then growing up in the rural flat-lands of Calgary, Alberta, and finally settling in Vancouver, British Columbia, I bring different cultural backgrounds and experiences into my creative work.
I graduated from Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) with a BFA in Media Arts, a Graphic Design certificate from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and a three-year Diploma program, Illustration & Design program (IDEA) at Capilano University. My passion for learning never ends—in creativity, culture, communications and technology. I’m constantly improving my visual design skills with a great interest in UI/UX design.
I’ve worked in exciting companies such as Max Advertising where I designed marketing collateral for Vancouver’s hot real estate industry and then to cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin at nCrypt. I am currently working at Harvey McKinnon Associates, where I help non-profit organizations raise funds, helping many people across the nation and the globe.
I loves dogs, yoga, dancing, music, writing, blogging and reading. I love learning about different cultures and is fascinated by learning about languages. I would travel more often if I wasn’t so afraid of flying!
